SOCIAL EVENTS

Social events are one of the great pillars of WHALASA. The club organizes several traditional events across the year to share the cultural richness of our region and to celebrate the Latin Spirit. Notable events are:

ASADO ARGENTINO

The Asado Argentino is the most famous WHALASA event in the Wharton Calendar! It takes place in Fairmount Park, where friends and family get together to enjoy good wine, have traditional Argentinean Barbecue, and play (or witness) a great soccer game.

Infierno

Every year, WHALASA welcomes the first-year students with a great Latin Party. It happens in the very beginning of the academic year and fascinates not only the Latinos, but the whole Wharton community.

CENA DE LOS TUCANES

The Cena de los Tucanes is our official goodbye to the 2Y WHALASA members! At this signature event, first- and second-year WHALASA members who have won the right to public recognition, are awarded with a unique Toucan Award.
